Bode George Urges Buhari To Probe Tinubu, Fashola

Bode George, a former national deputy chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to spread his anti-graft campaign to Buhari’s close associates, two former governors of Lagos state, Bola Tinubu and Babatunde Fashola.

The former PDP chairman said in a statement that it would be incorrect of Buhari to claim to be fronting an anti-corruption war and at the same time be considering Fashola for a ministerial appointment in the light of the N78.3m of taxpayers’ money spent on his personal website.

George said Fashola’s excuse for spending N78.3m on a website was filthy and should be rejected.

He said: “We are living in a very interesting time. There is an air of repugnancy everywhere most especifically in my state where the immoral stench and the dark odium of Mr. Babatunde Fashola’s administration is daily being unearthed.
