The Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) group, said on Tuesday, August 18, that its confidence has been boosted about the eventual release of the abducted girls by some pragmatic steps being taken by the Muhammadu Buhari administration recently.

The group made this known during the unveiling of a series of activities it intended to carry out to mark 500 days in captivity of the Chibok girls. The BBOG campaigners expressed hope and confidence that sooner rather than later the girls would return, especially with the president’s December 2015 deadline to the military to defeat Boko Haram.

Tenant Kills 85-Yr-Old Landlady After Disagreement Over N9k

A tenant simply identified as Abdullahi, has been arrested by the police in Ogun state for allegedly killing his 85-year-old landlady, Mrs Raliat Olasupo. According to The Punch, an altercation between the pair over N9,000, said to be an amount the landlady was supposed to pay Abdullahi for a service rendered, was the reason the tenant slaughtered the octogenarian with a knife.
